Lisa M. Gaspero was licensed to practice law in Illinois in 1996. She currently concentrates her practice in estate planning and administration, business law, real estate, family law, and commercial litigation and appeals. She is a member of the Illinois Supreme Court Bar, the Trial Bar of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the Trial Bar of the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois, the Federal Bar of the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Roll of Attorneys for the United States Supreme Court. She has had her own practice since 2002.

Prior to opening her own practice, Lisa was an associate attorney with Locke, Lord, Bissell & Liddle, where she concentrated in business litigation, federal and state court appeals, corporate matters, and reinsurance.

Lisa also enjoys providing charitable legal services to indigent children and adults. She has an interest in juvenile law, and published Does Transfer to Adult Court Work? Recidivism and Juveniles Tried as Adults." Juvenile Justice (Illinois State Bar Association), Vol. 8, No. 1 (Sept. 1995).

Lisa is married to Carmen A. Gaspero, Jr., who is also a practicing attorney. Lisa and her husband Carmen are the proud parents of five energetic daughters and one young son. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, marathon running, and playing the violin, viola and piano.

Carmen A. Gaspero concentrates his practice in corporate and securities law as well as litigation and risk management. He has extensive large-firm and in-house experience serving client needs in corporate and securities matters, risk mitigation, fiduciary responsibility, corporate governance, commercial litigation and dispute resolution. His clients have included some of the world's foremost financial services institutions and mid to large-cap companies. He is also experienced in serving the needs of individual clients in wealth management and estate planning concerns.

Mr. Gaspero earned his B.A. from the University of Illinois at Chicago (1991) and earned his J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law (1997). He is admitted to practice in Illinois, before the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois, and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the Roll of Attorneys for the United States Supreme Court.

Prior to Gaspero & Gaspero, he practiced corporate and securities law at the Chicago offices of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP. He is a national speaker on legal, compliance, and regulatory concerns in securities offerings. He is also a recognized provider of legal education services for other attorneys and has served in the leadership of various bar association committees on securities.
